Loved Pattison’s acting and the class warfare them, but the movie doesn’t quite hang together. Still, I enjoyed the big swing but its overly long runtime made me want to stretch my legs toward the end.

They just make movies like this anymore. No CGI, expensive landscapes, hundreds of extras, camels, horses. Just seeing the train battle in the second half of the film is awe-inspiring.

Peter O’Toole and Omar Sharif are the anchors to this film.

I’ve only seen the film twice but each time I see something new and the film’s plot is so relatable to modern politics.

See this film in the biggest screen you can!

Maybe I am so fond of this HBOMax series because I studied English Literature in school. The power of telling stories is integral to who we are as a people.

Station Eleven is best watched without knowing much about what the show's about.

The acting and intricate weaving of story lines help craft an engrossing series. Both the young Kirsten (Matilda Lawler) and older Kirsten (Mackenzie Davis) are mesmerizing to watch.

I can understand why this series may not be for everyone, but for me, I couldn't get enough.

Mikey Madison's level of complexity in her portraying Ani ("Anora") is a marvel to behold. I'm looking forward to seeing her in future films. Her ferocity and ability to quietly seethe bleeds all over the screen.

Sean Baker's Anora is a solid film though I would have cut out 10 - 15 minutes in the middle section (I don't want to give any spoilers away but I think you'll spot the sections during several repetitive scenes).

    With Anora, I'm split…
