watched this right after bones and all, felt like the same cinematic universe but showing both the impoverished and obscenely wealthy indulgences in cannibalism
I know armie hammer loved this and u can't convince me this isn't happening both consensually and non consensually in the world rn
deeply beautiful and earthy but didn't do the complex worldbuilding of the book justice. scar jo was so diametrically opposed to the narrator I was picturing and so much of the story was omitted that it felt like a different work of fiction, would have liked it more if I saw it through that lens probably
