    Garbage.

    Pros:
    - Scene with the MC stuck in the gunner chair.
    - Stylized crew member shots
    - Creature Effect

    Cons:
    - social messaging handled terribly (just like all the men in the film)
    - Dem explosion physics.

Don't know if I loved it or hated it:
    - Mortal Kombat scene with the MC vs the creature
    - Breastfeeding while we cut to credits.
    - synth music

    The Suicide Squad

    ★★★

Much better than the previous film of the same name, James Gun directs a new set of C-list villains trying to save the world and themselves. By far, the best thing in the film was King Shark and introducing the mainstream to Starro. I wasn't sure if Starro would work on the big screen, and I'm pleasantly surprised by how they treated him.

I also must be the only person who can't stand John Cena's acting, but apparently other people love him. Go figure. Harley was bearable in this film even though I suspect people are growing tired of her, since she's everywhere now.

Bland. Uninspired. Forgettable. The climax of the film was also so unsatisfying. Overall some decent performances and good film-making given it's low budget.

    The Babysitter: Killer Queen

    ★★★½

I found myself enjoying the first Babysitter film quite a bit so I was all gung-ho for a sequel. And for the most part the sequel Killer Queen works.

A few things didn't work for me though. The video game fight sequence felt strange and out of place. I was hoping for for more Samara Weaving as well but her screen time is justified due to how the film plays out.

The writers tried to wrap everything up tightly so I'll be surprised if they can come back with a coherent sequel. But I would be all for it.
