  This movie is an anomaly for me because it is hyper dated in just about ever aspect you can imagine, in many ways that truly aged pretty badly; and it treats the viewer like a complete fucking rube to an extent that feels legitimately insulting. But through all that, the 35 cuts a second and the the bizarre "fast-mo", comes off as legitimate comedy , like to a laugh out loud degree. And, that honestly doesn't denigrate the good central premise of the movie too badly.
  Certainly worth a watch.

  If you are super into slashers and over the top kills I can see enjoying this movie, but realistically that's all it was to me. Tolerable acting, cinematography and score served as the connective tissue for some interesting kills (though in all honesty I could throw a dart at a saw movie and likely land on a more memorable kill) , but I never found myself nervous, perplexed as to what would come next, or any kind of dread for…
