Girl 2018
Yet another trans movie made by cis people, for cis people. It feels exploitative, reinforcing the born-in-the-wrong-body-narrative and reducing trans people to our trauma and pain. This is the last time I'm taking a recommendation from a cis person (without doing my research first). Watch it if you want, but please, I beg you, do not ask your trans friends or loved ones to watch it. We're tired of this shit.
