  I just didn’t know what sort of film this was going in at all. I knew it was going to be kooky but for some reason I always thought it was kinda dark. Instead it’s like Blade Runner with the colour palate of a CBeebies show. Just a big load of cheesy space shennanigans really. Can definitely see the influence on things like the Star Wars prequels. Loved some parts (alien opera singer, Milla Jovovic, ancient aliens conspiracies), didn’t love others (Gary Oldman), but it’s a great time.
