Pretty funny and a star-studded cast which is cool. It’s not brilliant but it’s not trying to be which makes it enjoyable

The maths nerd in me mostly enjoyed this. Would have liked there to be more technical details but it makes sense that there wasn't to keep the movie accessible (apparently they have this more in the book it's based on). Taking one step backwards to go two steps forward was an overarching message I found here which I do like a lot, and it's very relevant for knowledge work in general.
“Sometimes it’s the people no one imagines anything of who do the things that no one can imagine” is a superb quote

Pretty mid. I enjoyed Scarlett Johansson's character, the feeling of being young and a bit lost is obviously relatable to a lot of people. But the plot itself is meh. Similar to a gripe I have with the book "One Day", I couldn't figure out why these two liked each other. Found the kiss at the end a bit revolting rather than romantic too due to the age gap and the vulnerability of her character.
