The Marvels 2023
Absurdly fun, great action, fun editing. The fucking Memory bit was inspired. Comedy was on point, at least for me. I wish they got to squeeze a little more emotion in, but they did a decent job. Suprisingly excited to see where this movie’s events take us. Unfortunately this movie does have the same “kree bs is lowkey not as interesting” as Captain Marvel but it’s not as bad

‘S good. Third act is perfect. This movie is one you can tell had it’s teeth cut in terms of the quick editing and undershowcased elements. It feels tampered with. But, it’s still good. Freeman and Spacey (sigh) are fantastic. Pitt, is acting well but god is his character annoying.

i mean damm if harrison ford didn’t show up for this lmao. but honestly this movie was really middling. the red hulk stuff unironically was really good though, zero complaints. the centrist ending act of sam trying to reconcile with ross is really toothless though, especially in 20-god damn-25. joaquin was really unfunny and was getting on my nerves highkey throughout the movie and i really wish we had bucky instead. overall, pretty dull and they wasted giancarlo, but red hulk is cool

super duper cute, i love the pulp and characters. It’s very fun and laidback but also engages the viewer from set piece to set piece. My main issue (besides the scene of Rally’s top getting torn for no reason) is that there isn’t more😭. guess the manga awaits me
i love the artstyle a lot too, as with a lot of 90’s gun-toting anime
