The Brutalist 2024
I was consumed by the beginning and the potential this film had. The visual language and cinematography were immaculate and felt like a massive breath of fresh air. The character relationships felt genuine, vulnerable and poignant.
In the cinema I watched it in, there was an intermission half way through.
I came back in to a different film, the dialogue was rushed, it meandered on things that felt unrelated to the prior film development and overall just brought everything down. …
