Every time I rewatch Clueless I enjoy it even more!

Genuinely had no idea until now that this was based on Jane Austen’s Emma?? And I enjoyed watching a teen film where the characters aren’t overly sexualised, and everyone has full range of motion from their face (sans botox). Seeing normal human faces healed some of the silly insecurities I’ve been having recently. Grateful for it. Oh and Alicia Silverstone is indeed an ICON.

That’s what I got from this particular watch at least.

I was entertained - which is all I ask for from a film. My favourite thing about Nosferatu was all of the internet comedy that followed on from it.

LOVE a good character study. I think this was done pretty beautifully with a good balance of humour and emotion. Kieran Culkin’s troubled character finding comfort in being surrounded by busy strangers at the airport made me feel things.

Excited to watch it again!! Which I rarely say about a film. It was freaking hilarious, and yet I had to look away at one moment to avoid any tears escaping. I’m so excited for all my friends to watch this. Great film.
