I’ve never been so genuinely mind-fucked by a film and I mean that in the least comedic way possible.
Interstellar is one of those films you can truly only watch once, it’s an experience you simply won’t forget. Nolan’s pretentious hatred for CGI (don’t blame him at all) really helps here and makes any computer generated imagery come out much more impressive than anything we see even 10 years later.

Takes what it has and uses it to the fullest. This film is an anomaly in its ability to create a convincing apocalyptic world with a tiny £5 million budget. London was creatively used only early in the mornings to achieve the effect of complete emptiness without paying high fees for renting streets and landmarks - not to mention the distinctly poor quality output from the camera.
