  It was so great when the film ended after the Spectacular Spectacular number and the Duke agreed to invest in the Moulin Rouge with no strings attached whatsoever and they presumably put on the most beautiful production and no one died. Any other ending would be utterly unacceptable, obviously. *sobs*

  Unfortunately, even the “my dear, a little frog!” line could not redeem him. 

  If only my own poetry readings caused people to roll around in their garters on lavish fur blankets.

  As the opening credits were rolling Mhairi said “it just occurred to me this film might be racist…” and it was! Enjoyed the queer subtext tho.

Following
