The Sixth Sense 1999
Absolutely cracking, but would be interested to know if it’s good on a rewatch. Realised all my reviews so far have been raves, and don’t want my 2 followers to think I’m not a discerning critic. Have therefore deducted half a star for them casting Mischa Barton without the foresight (mystical or otherwise) that 10 years later she would star in the OC, such that seeing her dressed up as a ghost totally ruins the immersion of the film.

Still digesting/watching YouTube analysis/lurking on reddit threads, so this review is going to change.
For now, I’m just going to say a few, spoiler-heavy, things to get my immediate thoughts down.

Trainspotting 1996
First time in ages I’ve sat down and watched a proper film.
Really good stuff. The weird thing about enjoying this one so much was that Dan and I guessed most of the major plot points before they happened. Normally, that would bring a film down in my estimations, but not this one. Maybe because ultimately they were predictable plot points because they’re typical of drug addiction.
