  I went back and forth between 3.5-4 stars for this one. Morally complex. Excellent performances. Different. Interesting plot that I didn’t see coming. I couldn’t have asked for anything more from this movie and when you can say that, it’s safe to say it accomplished what it set out to do.

  I feel odd rating this. If you are watching this movie looking for a plot driven film about Nazi World War 2 (like Schindler‘s list for example) then you would be very disappointed with this. Someone could watch this and say “nothing happened” and that’s precisely the point. It is a personal, mundane look into a very real, selfish, and dangerous family.
