  I had never watched the Lord of the Rings trilogy before. You’ve never watched the Lord of the Rings?! I would hear them cry. Now they cry no more and they eat their words. I have watched the Lord of the Rings (the fellowship of the ring). 

  I now have immense context for that one video of Elijah Wood that I will never not find funny where Dominic Monaghan prank interviews him and asks him about wigs. You know the one.

  One of those films that stays with you for days.

  Beautifully shows the melancholy reality of rural isolation. Thought there was a starkness about the film that made it all the more raw, definitely helped by the bleakness of the landscape.
  Chloe Pirrie and Joseph Mawle are both phenomenal; so much is communicated through silence or single words or small movements. Quietly devastating.

  I also can’t stop listening to the King Creosote track that plays at the end.
