This is fine, decent, good I guess. Just not for me, at least not right now. Had me thinking me or my hypothetical future partner was about to get cancer. Idk man half the movie was her pregnant the other half was her with cancer suffering or both of them anticipating suffering. I feel like the movie relied wayyyy to much on the leads being really likeable, bc it didn’t really flesh the characters out. Just bc your movie is sad doesn’t make it immediately deep or profound or good? Idk man. Fine I guess.

The Doctor 1991
Surprised how much I liked this. Lots of character development. Cheesy at times. There are moments and relationships between characters that feel real and genuine in a way i can’t explain.
Side note: the friendship between Jack and June is the most beautiful part of this movie. Genuine portrayals of friendship between men and women (without underlying romance, sexual tension etc) are so rare in moves, so this was super refreshing as well.
