The throat gripping anxiety that “Longlegs” looms over the screen makes everything better by us not knowing who Nicolas Cage was going to play and how he looked. You’d think someone like him would be all over the trailers/teasers, but I loved that they left him out of the spotlight so we can see him in the film firsthand.
