I was on board until the last 15 mins. Hard to untangle anyones motivations. Most synopsis' mention 'love' but obsession, control, desperation, intrigue, longing and lust would be more apt. Undoubtably beautiful to look at, and deeply moving in moments, but a wholly unsatisfying plot in the end.
