The Most Dangerous Game 1932
Watched this for film class and was amazed at how interesting it was. I see why current film makers watch 1920s films for inspiration. The plot twists, acting, and ESPECIALLY THE WRITING, was top tier. A sure recommendation if you ever want to get into old films!
P.S, Was oddly attracted to the Count, but that’s an issue for another day😁

A Real Pain 2024
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
This movie was stressful, beautiful, and heartbreaking. I specifically loved the beginning vs ending scene.
Seeing Kieran Culkin’s character alone at an airport with “A Real Pain” written simply beside him, it shows that he’s just an annoying troublemaker. Seeing the same scene as the ending, after learning everything about him, it changes the meaning. Benji’s real pain is within himself, feeling empty inside if he cannot form connections with people.
I have a few analysis and thoughts about this film, but I think I’ll save it as a topic for a random English report in the future 😆
