Expected an emotionally-charged thriller about a hostage situation, got Casualty if it was made about journalism. I didn’t really care if ABC got the story live or not, for one. Maybe it’s partly because I expected to be truly horrified and am a little bit delighted that I wasn’t… but I really liked this. Yadayada stuff about it subverting the haunted house genre bla bla - yes, that, but also it was just a fun concept executed nicely within an hour and a half. We love to see it.
