  film was a literal nightmare. that said i liked it? definitely keeps you on the edge which i think is it’s point. truly horrifying though, very full of hate. hard to watch.

  i enjoyed this ! need to re read in cold blood. did not know it was his last book. did not know how freaky he got with that man ! deffo more a drama than a thriller but beautifully shot and as per usual hoffman devours.

  i loved the story and i loved how earth shatteringly sad the ending was. i felt like the movie maybe had a pacing problem coupled w the fact that it featured two low energy leads. but i really enjoyed the acting of both leads. the monologue made the film. i understand that the vagueness throughout the movie was maybe part of the vibe but it felt a little uncooked. really great film tho, great colors, and definitely an important story to add to queer cinema.
