This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
From a Thai-Chinese eldest daughter perspective, the family dynamics are portrayed well for M's side of the family. However, I personally think that Mui's character is slightly out of place and unrealistic. Although doing all the tough work, the granddaughter getting the most significant part of the inheritance is unlikely, and the OnlyFans part is just plain unnecessary. It doesn't add anything to her character. I hate the romanticisation, but that doesn't mean it's not a good film. This film tells the unseen part of many families and it moved me nonetheless. It's a great start for the Thai film industry.
