  Some really funny parts and some really sentimental parts. Was overwhelmed and confused at points, which probably was intentional but didn’t make it enjoyable. Critical of the message that we need to heal our families to heal ourselves.

  Cute movie. Good to know that landlords in Cambridge have maintained consistency in terms of how little they care about their tenants’ units. Anyways, not the point of the movie. I really like nuance and complication when it comes to stories of trauma, especially childhood trauma. It felt a little too cheesy to me that once Ben realizes he was abused he suddenly changes his whole life…I believe for most that’s the tip of the iceberg rather than the resolution. Not a waste of time, and Ben Affleck’s brother is hot.

  The amount of explaining that would be needed for me to even slightly understand a fragment of what was occurring in this film deems it totally unenjoyable for me. I’m sure film snobs have a field day with it, but I’m perfectly okay being a common man in terms of my movie taste.

Following
