Mississippi Burning 1988
A perfectly taut plot with zero holes and zero handholding. Starts just as brutally as it ends. The depth of the plot is nothing short of astounding, and all of the characters are built through the unique application of silence between their conversations. The social message pierces through, and unfortunately remains as bold and dystopic in the current day. A damn near flawless movie.
