  Man, this one still makes me happy and sad at the same time. Just so good. Still so so good. 

  Ivan pointing to Igor with a simple “gopnik” gave me a chuckle. The bag of pelmeni as a bag of ice, amazing. “Frwaud marrwiage” always hits. All the things she said needle drop, perfection. 

  Mikey is sensational. She’s a master at the innocent eyelash flutter. Yura is just so damn genuine I can’t help believe everything he says.

  Anastasia 1997

  This was probably the most important cartoon to me from the age of 3 to probably 20. I remember getting so many Anastasia-related dolls and gifts during those early Slavas in Chicago. I had the music box and necklace, I took them everywhere.

  I wish they would’ve at least pronounced her name right tho…

  Slavs are crazy man, I love us so much. 

  Cartoon Rasputin and Bartok are my version of my little shoulder devils, they’ve always maintained that space…

  Imagine the potential if they actually made Missy an Uber Dyke instead of just styling her like one. Endlessly funny that the gay guy’s name is Les, on top of it. 

  “They always reject the unfamiliar” still rings true. This movie will always be the shit, so take a big whiff.
