scary and emotionally traumatizing, just how i like my horror
surprised the reviews aren’t into it, i loved this and sandra oh devoured the role imo
so sweet and wholesome.
as a darker skinned black woman with 4c hair, i’m often at the intersection of colourism and texturism when negative comments are made about me so watching this movie felt very healing
also i love zoe’s character 🥺
added the book to my read list!
as a black woman who is also an only child and orphan, megan inspires me in countless ways.
i love her because:
• she’s smart
• she’s hot
• she’s gone through so much and is still here
• she’s funny
• she seems like a genuinely nice person
i don’t like documentaries but i’ll watch anything for meg. THEY COULD NEVER MAKE ME HATE YOU!
#hottieforlife
PS the animated scenes are amazing, she needs to produce an anime because i’d watch that so fast
