I cared more about the friend group than the main romance plot (the funeral scene destroyed me btw) but I do love a good hugh grant movie tbh... guilty pleasure of mine. the unrequited love thing with fiona really fucked me up though. god. safe to say I liked this movie but the "happy ending" wasn't really for me

watching this as a film about mia and her passions rather than a love story kind of makes it better... really enjoyed the colors, choreography and cinematography this time around. didn't make me cry bc I'm no longer 14 and growing up is realizing sebastation sucks. but very glad I saw it again :)
