  Started watching this but didn’t really know what was going on so went back and watched the series. Don’t usually watch anime’s but this film was nutty 👌. The second half of the film where it focuses on the mental battles and struggle for purpose amongst the characters in a visually stunning and abstract way is the reason I’m giving it a rare 5 stars from me.

  Couldn’t decide whether this was a 4 or a 4.5 so I’ve gone with the higher of the two. Leonard Cohen at the start, Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind in the middle, and a tear jerking end! Great watch!

  About Time 2013

  I remembered bits of this film, and it’s a let down. Like a black mirror episode only slightly longer, these ‘rules’ of times travel make little to no sense with many plot holes particularly in the ending childhood scene. Then there’s the fact that this guys whole family is essentially forged through his own manipulation as he stalks Mary through time. But overall it was an ok watch!
