  I’m a messy bitch who lives for drama but I’m also struggling with faith and finding out who I really am. Funny how they voted for the change they wanted to occur, but if the ‘truth’ came out they would have voted for the return to a past most of them did not want.

  A bit too close to home, which is what made it so good. This movie both comforts one’s pain whilst reminding one of its potentially forgotten existence. The build up created with Jessie’s monologue at the restaurant and then the concentration camp was overwhelming. We are all tourists to each others pain, some decide to stay longer than others. Got me to ponder on how much of the full spectrum of emotion I allow myself to experience, especially towards others.

  “I’m not really afraid of these people, I’m afraid of hating myself” - made me sob. 
  I think one of the messages of this movie is that people can really surprise you sometimes, and in the best of ways. Humans are so, so beautiful and multifaceted and kind and loving. 
  “I stole something from your house one time”
  “I already know what it is”
  “You are a really good friend”.
