  A spy thriller in dinner-party-whodunit dressing. They should have shot multiple endings like Clue.

  Stating the obvious - particularly when this is the second film he's put out this year - but Soderbergh is an absolute master of efficiency, and this is a sleek espionage plot tangled and unravelled in 90 minutes.
  Oh also everyone is super hot 👍

  It's kind of like a dry run for other, better buddy cop movies to come (and better vehicles for Eddie Murphy). Mainly notable for the sheer volume of 80s character actors in the cast: Jonathan Banks, David Patrick Kelly, James Remar, Sonny Landham, Denise Crosby, Brion James, Annette O'Toole - stacked!

  I can understand the temptation to experiment when telling the story of Delia Derbyshire, and obviously hybrid documentaries can work really well, but this feels like three different films pulling against each other. The result is quite frustrating, and that's not helped when interesting elements seem to be teased and then never fully explored: at the start of the film we're told that 267 tapes were found in Derbyshire's attic after she died, but we get very little if anything…
