Only Yesterday 1991
I know this movie hits home and many nostalgic notes for everybody watching it, but for a Romanian girl like me listening to a traditional Romanian folklore song (in a Japanese movie!) while reminiscing about her childhood in the countryside with her grandparents and her greatgrandmother... was nothing short of magic.
I will definitely rewatch this over and over again!

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
The first half hour of the movie portrayed the idea of boredom in a marriage and what to do to feel young again, only to be confronted with a moral dilemma in the next hour.
Initially it felt like Josh and Cornelia were the main characters but then Jamie surfaced. I think this is in synchronicity with the movie and the narcissistic character Adam Driver played.
