  i'll never stop speaking about Elio. The awkwardness of his actions, the always looking for oliver yet being so shy when he's here, the obsession, everything he does is just so human and i love him for this. In the end he's the younger one who should "know less" than oliver yet he's the one who ends up the most honest with his feelings. As oliver says about the book, some things stay the same by changing : elio stays elio by accepting his homosexuality whereas oliver goes back to the same woman and will forever play a game pretending he doesn't love men
