Saw this in a packed theater and it was absolutely worth the hype. Less energy than the previous one, but the intense scenes are more intense. Fuck the Harkonnens forever, I see them in many aspects of today's society. The truly captivating Colosseum scene could only happen in their world. I just wish it didn't end on a cliffhanger because it still feels uncertain a Dune III could get made. If it does though, I might have a new favorite movie franchise.

I keep imagining this happens in a post-climate scenario, even though it's clearly a space movie on other planets. While many of…

This is how every single political assassination we like to imagine about actually succeeds, and it's done in the most awesome way possible. Everything that Joker fans think their movie could be, especially when it comes to representing who is actually damned in society. Supports trans people even if the term "trans" isn't exactly used in their culture. One of my favorite films in recent memory and who knew this is how the guy from Skins and Slumdog Millionaire makes his directorial debut.
