  Once I got the symbolism, this really hit home. The main girl is at least part 'pig' or German, and you can tell from her nose and how it turns pink. The actions of the people who came before her overtake her mind.

  I like that the pig plays the good guy, the bad guy, and a reflection of the little girl at times. It changes symbolism many times.
