Beau Is Afraid 2023
Ari Aster, you have done it again. An existential nightmare imprinting me with the desolate landscape of motherhood. You will see penises, plays and decapitation. Someone get this man into therapy. Whilst I can understand the hatred for this movie (it is 2.59hrs long), I truely believe you must live as beau to understand beau and personally I loved every moment! A continuum of juxtaposition between reality and the delusions we feed ourselves when we really have nothing left to offer. Although Patti LuPones monologuing was enough spoon feeding to leave me no choice but to rate it 4/5 stars! 🫣
