This was so brilliantly shot and told. I got to see it's premier in New York and the directors did a Q&A. It was very refreshing to hear people talk about their craft and understand why they made the decisions they made.

Deadpool & Wolverine 2024
The writing in this Deadpool was funny. Similar to the other deadpools it surprises me with conversations that eerily reflect the conversations happening in my circles. (The menopause joke was particularly inspired).
Always I appreciate how flirty Deadpool is.
However I'm tired of the alcoholic man being a grouch/emotionally unavailable trope. I'm tired that we are still depicting men this way. I felt little to no connection with wolverine and felt that his "i hurt everyone/its all my fault" attitude/mindset such an eye roll. Stop putting male characters who need to go to therapy on the screen!! I'm tired of it!!
