The more I think about this movie the more I hated it. Its just so stupidly gross.
Like it was way too much at the end and felt like it lost all purpose. It should have ended with the 2 main characters realizing they were 1 and dying. They lost the whole "you are one" message.
On the plus side I liked to cinematography in the beginning but it did start to fade out into obscurity in the second half.
Actually beautiful, it's so cute and just perfect. It's so sweet and definitely recommended this film.
I hated the process of watching this movie. But it was worth it. Christian Bale did a terrifying job at playing Patrick Bateman. And this movie definitely made me uncomfortable. I think it is a shame that it has been co-oped by the "alpha male" community. Like- its making fun of those exact kinds of men. Overall, I wouldn't watch this again but it's nice to have the cultural awareness of this movie.
As someone who has seen the Broadway musical this movie does it very well. Cynthia Erivo is spectacular. Ariana Grande on the other hand could have played Glinda a bit better. Glinda is supposed to be very over the top and I feel Grande toned her down. The dance scene was also way too long. Out of all the things the cut, they could've cut that down and extended other things. Overall, a great movie and did the musical justice.
