writing for bhanupriya's role is sooo good, i can’t think of many other telugu films where a lead is so vindictive, bitter, and remorseless, and yet still manages to be likable. family dynamics are realistic, the atmosphere captures the quietly-sunlit vizagapatami suburbs perfectly, and ilaiyaaraja... well, he is ilaiyaaraja, which is to say superb. one of my favorite soundtracks ever <3 wish bhanupriya was my classical dance teacher as a child lol, she puts madhuri dixit to shame
