what a fucking gem man. everything in this movie is so transient, even the tombs that have been there for 2000 years eventually get cracked open and desecrated, the only things that remain at peace are the people in the tomb which is why the ending is so beautiful. also one of the best looking movies ive seen in years, and the needle drops were awesome.
it treats its characters with such empathy and grace, even the devastating parts are so tender
