I was not prepared for how much I would like this film. I went into The Pig, The Snake and the Pigeon expecting a standard gritty gangster film with a faintly interesting premise but I was instead met by a film with not just some of the most exhilarating action scenes I’ve seen in a while but one that balances that with a surprisingly impactful narrative.
