New York has never been so dull. Or maybe I just don't see the appeal of watching from above as a red VW drives around for 30 or so minutes.
Gender flipping the twins to be more relevant to their field of work is a great idea, but that's where it ends. Beats of the movie are needlessly drawn out, dialogue is overwritten with the most misplaced and awkward profanity, the Mantle twins are cleanly split on a moral divide and their relationship is flattened, Weisz and Ehle give bad performances, Genevieve is written even worse than Claire in the movie and doesn't even have decent interplay with the twins.
Just terrible.
