Really loved the aesthetic & cinematography of this film. Acting and directing were also brilliant.

The Monkey 2025
Not entirely sure that this story really worked for me, which is disappointing given that I did like Longlegs. I think predominantly this movie's plot is where it fails for me. A lot of moments and plot points are either (a) never tied up, or (b) unnecessary and don't lend anything to moving the story along. When the credits (finally) rolled, I was so perplexed that there was so much of the movie that just felt unfinished. Better editing could have helped this movie tremendously. Movies that are short in duration but feel long are truly the bane of my existence.
