1st Watch Review: Baz Luhrmann must have been busy when this needed to be made because Scorsese filled this film with so much it just screamed BIG. There is a great lead actor in this and Daniel Day-Lewis. Though DiCaprio tries to clear the gravitas of Lewis he never gets to that point in this film even by the end. Not sure what or why Diaz was in this. Could have been literally anyone. The supporting cast filled in fine.…

Re-Watch Review: I remember people ragged on this when it came out. I still love it probably in my top 5 favorite Leo performances. Scorsese doing his best Nolan impersonation but knows most audiences aren’t that smart so hand holds thoroughly. Reminds me of Ruffalo not being in the MCU and delivering solid performances every time out. The supporting cast here is incredible.

1st Watch Review: Just an amazing piece of work that highlights family to a tee and dedication to each other more than any other film. Loved the connective tissues here. The cast here felt like a real family in every bit. Fernanda Torres delivered the best female performance this Oscar season and that’s seeing all of the films and enjoying other films more. From the first few minutes of this film I felt I kinda want to move to Brazil. Such a powerful film. The moral of this one is ever apparent today…HOLD YOUR GOVERNMENT ACCOUNTABLE.

1st Watch Review: This is extremely my type of film: crime thriller/horror. The marketing for this was an 11/10, the performances were amazing, the production/editing was stellar. Monroe was incredible in the lead, my favorite Underwood performance in a long time, and Cage was in this and toned down which is my preference. Go check this out.
