good movie. Ending and twist came a bit too late honestly. It was alluded to throughout the movie but it came too soon to fast. I would’ve liked to see a modulated “hero’s return” from the psych ward back to the end of highschool, which would also coincided with prom and graduation. I think the choice of Sam attending a summer program was a good pause in an otherwise deepening relationship between her and lead. I found it amusing that lead was also wanted by virtually everyone as well. I believe Patrick should’ve been developed more as a character, especially with his interests and queer identity.
