Second watch. Great themes and love the tension with Paul as Messiah. Good conversation starter on ethics of religious manipulation. Also love Zendaya as Chani. I think she carries this movie.

Hijack 2023
One of the best shows I’ve watched in a long time. Writers did a masterful job weaving show after show to be engaging with great ethical dilemmas and cliff hangers at the end of each episode. Not much junk. Loved Idris’ performance. Just engaging storytelling that begs you to let go and jump into the story wondering “What’s going to happen next?”

This one’s a film. It’s one that will make you feel hard. Very emotionally engaging.
The movie promotes American ideals of individualism and finding affirmation through the fruit of your own hard work, grit, and vigor. At the end I was almost scared about the conviction inside me towards wanting to pursue the confident realization of greatness in that single shared look in the last scene. Maybe that’s a sinful part of me craving “wanting to be God.”
