If you’re watching this movie, that means you’ve probably kept up with the cinematic universe being built — this one is on par with Stree. I watched it on a plane so I guess it won’t hit the same, but there was nothing to write home about. I liked the pandemic touch which allowed for some good humor. There was also a fair bit of violence which was nice to watch. It is your average action thriller with a strong lead and decent story. Chandu Champion 2024
The film gives a platform for one of the most ridiculous true events in Indian history. I don’t really enjoy these types of films because I find them to be stretching out a simple Wikipedia search. That being said, the film offers plenty of comic relief and unique dialogue. While those were strong points, the film fails with its music and scoring for me. The lead’s acting started off extremely subpar but as the film continues, he really envelops his role and delivers his career’s most ambitious performance. Overall, a movie with no rewatch ability but a story worth hearing about over and over again.
