  At the MoMA. There was to be a Q&A with Mr. Schatzberg afterwards. The Q&A was to take place on elevated stage in front of the screen. Halfway up the flight of three steps or so to the stage Mr. Schatzberg fell backwards. He fell hard. He did not get up. The room was immediately evacuated. The ambulance arrived as I was exiting the building.

  You come to this movie for the answer to the riddle of a song, but you stay for the human behind that song. It's like uncovering someone's long-lost diary then reading it out loud. You could argue that the film's ultimate happy ending is thwarted but her untimely death, but this serves as beautiful memorial/musical love letter to an artist who's life was fully lived.
