Had zero expectations and it blew me away! Quite patriarch, taking generational fillipino trauma and exasperating it given the apocalyptic state they are in. The cinematography was well done! I like how its more than just a zombie movie. The monsters are already there.

Everytime I watch a yorgos film, I'm left feeling unsettled but wanting more. Yorgas has a way of leaving it to your own interpretations.. what the theme is about or is there even a theme? Spoiler alert: I definitely sense power struggles in this film and not knowing how to deal with it.

I Saw the Devil 2010
Love me a good Korean film, especially if it's horror! But this movie is cat and mouse on a whole another level!! If your in the mood for a gut wrenching, psychological thriller then this is for you!
This same antagonist actor plays in "oldboy" still need to see thatI'm also curious to watch ichi and audition (similiar to this genre film) but I heard audition is more palatable than ichi, for an old school-ish mind fuck lol

Wish I saw this in theatre's, the graphics would of been cool to see on the big screen. But still really good!
