This is one of those movies I watched a long time ago, forgot the title but always remembered the running.
Rewatching it as an adulthood I never realised how German it is. I have a slight headache from the constant moving of the camera but all in all I like the premise, characters and storytelling style.
The only way I’ve been describing this movie is a lesbian pulp fiction.
Cinematic marvel. Every seen was beautifully shot, every sound loud to grab and keep your attention. The worms.
Maybe it was just my audience but I didn’t like how they turned stilgar from a great, devote warrior into comic relief. His fanatic ideals got many laughs where it distracted from the message of cultism and radical devotion to faith.
