Little Miss Sunshine 2006
This movie shaped my adolescence, particularly after being told at 8 years old by my mum that it was not a film for children but still secretly watching it. From Olive's heartwarming relationship with her grandpa to Dwayne's intense despair over not being able to join the Air Force, and Uncle Frank’s quiet, lingering sadness, this film resonated with me in ways I couldn't fully understand at the time. Now, at 25, it hits even harder. I’m obviously due on my period and in my feels hence this movie choice. Sobbed, balled and broken.
